Welcomed in Italy positively by the government and negatively by some opposition parties, the aid package for the post-pandemic of the European Union is analysed by the University of New South Wales-Canberra professor.

For the first time, Europe is issuing a common debt worth hundreds of billions of euros. Of these, Italy gets 209 billion, of which almost 82 of subsidies and 127 of loans.

With Professor Tani we also addressed the problems of the labour market in Australia following the publication of a pessimistic report by the Productivity Commission.

Residents in metropolitan Melbourne are subject to stay-at-home orders and can only leave home for food and essential supplies, work, study, exercise or care responsibilities. People are also advised to wear masks in public.

People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others. Check your state’s restrictions on gathering limits.

If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, stay home and arrange a test by calling your doctor or contact the Coronavirus Health Information Hotline on 1800 020 080.
