Italian young tenor Rocco Speranza is taking part in Opera Australia's NSW School Tour performing in its production of The Owl and the Pussycat, By The Light of the Moon based on the untold tales of Edward Lear.
Rocco recently arrived from Italy auditioned for Opera Australia and was selected for various roles in its prestigious chorus before landing the role of Old King Cole/Three Blind Mice in the NSW schools project. He studied at the Conservatorio di musica in Naples and then with acclaimed teacher and singer Alda Borelli Morgan in Mantua.
