The winners of the Sanremo Giovani song festival will tour the world performing in Sydney on 6 April at the prestigious City Recital Hall.
The Sanremo Song Festival is the most important pop music event in Italy. The winner qualifies automatically for the Eurovision Song Festival. For the first time, the winners of Sanremo Giovani will take part in a World Tour performing in Tunis, Tokyo, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Toronto, Barcelona and Brussels.
The Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney, Lillo Guarneri, spoke of the event on SBS Italian.
