Solidarity will save Italian theatres from coronavirus

In Italy audiences are refusing ticket refunds in order to help theatre workers and artists during the crisis of COVID-19. All theatres are currently closed and all performances cancelled.


Fondazione dei teatri di Piacenza's artistic director, Cristina Ferrari, says that the current closure of Italian theatres because the coronavirus could inflict a lethal blow to many of them, but that solidarity  will help most of them to overcome this critical moment.
