This week, the Federal Government tax cuts and the possible reform of the job market are the themes at the centre of our analysis with UNSW Canberra finance professor, Massimiliano Tani.


The Industrial Relations Minister, Christian Porter, is evaluating a series of laws regulating the labour market in a review that will last from six to nine months and that will also include a new definition of casual work. Yesterday the government defended the review work - claiming that the new laws governing industrial relations will make the economy stronger.
