Long considered lost, the seven-reel silent movie "The Hund von Barkesville", filmed in 1929, was found in the basement of a church in Sasnowiec, Poland.


The silent movie will premiere in Australia at the State Library of NSW on 9 June at 14:00.

Italian pianist Mauro Colombis will improvise the piano arrangement for the movie.
