The pros and cons of the "gig economy"

There are those who deliver food, those who use their private cars as taxis, those who rent a room in their home, or those who supplement their salaries and save some extra money thanks to the so-called "gigs".


The "gig economy" means earning a living, or supplementing one's income, doing occasional jobs without a formal contract.

A phenomenon that has evolved quickly thanks to the Internet. There are websites and apps, such as Airbnb or Uber, dedicated to connecting supply and demand and this former casual work has become a new way to wok for many people.
