The reconstruction of L'Aquila "will be completed within five years"

According to Salvo Provenzano, an engineer who is the head of the office for the reconstruction of the Abruzzo capital, homes have been delivered to 75% of eligible citizens.


L'Aquila hosted a torchlight procession in memory of the 309 victims of the earthquake that devastated the city on 6 April 2009, causing also building collapses and thousands of displaced residents.
