Stefano Girola is the author of the biography (written in Italian) of Rina Louise Dal Cengio, Italian-Australian woman of Aboriginal background.

La guerriera che sorride: La storia di Rina Louise Dal Cengio is the title of the book telling the life story of Rina Louise Dal Cengio, written by Stefano Girola.

Rina was born in Queensland in 1962, from an Italian father and an Aboriginal mother. Her early life, after her parents separated, was marred by abuse. Stefano has written her life story, based on several interviews conducted with Rina.

It is a story of struggles and resilience, of a strong woman living between two cultures and two identities.

The book, currently available online only in Italian, will be launched in Brisbane on August 23.
