Victoria's bilingual school celebrates the start of Winter with an afternoon of games and good food.
The 2019 Winter Solstice Festival is held from 3PM to 8PM on Saturday 22 June, in the historic setting of Brunswick South Primary School in Melbourne.
We asked the teacher Daniele Vitali how the idea was born and how the students contributed to the event to find out it is an eco-sustainable festival that helps the school financing the purchase of new equipment.
Among the activities, also the sale of delicious Italian dishes such as the panzerotti from Bari. Vincenzo Di Gennaro, an engineer by profession and a cook by passion, is one of the parents involved in organizing the party and shared with us his recipe.
