British premier Theresa May confirmed that a new bid to secure Parliament's backing for a Brexit deal so that the UK can leave the European Union this summer. It will be presented after the upcoming European elections.
With the European elections looming, politicians from both Britain's major parties are expecting to be punished over the way Brexit has been handled.
Now veteran Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage has re-entered the fray, with his Brexit Party expected to pick up thousands of votes from disaffected Brexit supporters.
