In the year 2057, the Sun is dying and mankind faces extinction. Earth’s last hope lies with the Icarus II, a spacecraft with a crew of eight men and women led by Captain Kaneda. Their mission: to deliver a nuclear device designed to reignite the fading sun. Deep into their voyage, the crew hear a distress beacon from the Icarus I, which disappeared on the same mission seven years earlier. A terrible accident throws their mission into jeopardy and soon the crew find themselves fighting not only for their lives and their sanity, but for the future of mankind.

Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Michael Mann directs this adaptation of Brian Burrough's best-seller about famed government agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) and his attempt to stop John Dillinger (Academy Award-nominee Johnny Depp) and his gang. The 1930s-set drama depicts a lawless time in American history that made a stable of gangsters, of whom Dillinger was most notorious, front page celebrities. Efforts to thwart the high profile criminals led to the formation of what is now known as the FBI. The all-star cast also includes Academy Award-winner Marion Cotillard, Billy Crudup, Channing Tatum, and Lili Taylor.

Italian men used to be 'macho', able to stand up for their honour, woo women and do the tough things that men do. In Rome - where fathers sent their sons to become 'men' - Gennaro and Antonio look at the modern Italian man and ask if there is still a place in Italy for 'macho' men. They start in the rugged mountain villages of Lazio where men still tend their flocks and provide for their family. But in Rome, they find a different story, the women there are increasingly taking control.
