Verdi's Attila opens with an overwhelming success in Sydney

Sensational success of Giuseppe Verdi's "blockbuster" Attila, a co-production between La Scala of Milan and Opera Australia, directed by Davide Livermore at the Sydney Opera House.


In this interview with SBS Italian, Davide Livermore says that the current tense political climate inspired him setting the opera in 1943 during the Civil War in Italy.
