The One Woman Project is a feminist organisation that fights gender disparity and domestic violence thanks to the commitment and passion of its members, all volunteers under 30.
But the project is not aimed only at young people ", Katia Pellicciotta, coordinator in the state of Victoria for awareness-raising activities, told SBS Italian.
In fact, The One Woman Project is also aimed to communities that are vulnerable to violence and injustice in the country. For example, migrants and temporary residents such as backpackers or people who are in Australia with the Working & Holiday Visa, those who live in rural areas, far from urban centers.
The members of the association are finalising a document dedicated to domestic violence, with indications on how to deal with it safely, which will be available for free on the One Woman Project website starting from July.
