The precious nectar is produced in an area of eight hectares in Burgundy.

The population of Puligny, in Burgundy, has just over 400 inhabitants a bit over the nearby village of Chassagne. There are therefore less than 1000 people in the world who can boast of living in the shadow of the most prestigious chardonnay vineyards in the world.

In this small piece of land, about eight hectares, one of the most expensive wines in the world is produced: Montrachet, as Raffaele Mastrovincenzo told SBS Italian.

Listen to the wine review:
Mastrovincenzo has worked as a sommelier for fine dining institutions such as Attica and Embla in Melbourne, today he promotes wines in Australia and has a blog dedicated to wine.
