Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un's second summit began with cautious optimism. But then it suddenly fell apart. Journalist Giampiero Gramaglia reports.


A summit between Donald Trump and the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ended without agreement after the US refused North Korean demands for sanctions relief. A few hours later, the summit was called off. The signing ceremony was cancelled and the official lunch left uneaten.

Meanwhile, United States president Donald Trump's former lawyer - Michael Cohen - has testified in front of an important US Congressional Committee.He's revealed prosecutors in New York are investigating conversations Mr Trump had with him, after Mr Cohen's office and hotel room were raided in April last year. He says Mr Trump also told him to lie to U-S Congress about a deal to open a Trump Tower hotel in Moscow during the 2016 U-S presidential election campaign.
