Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese says he has changed his thinking and believes the Coalition's policy to turn back boat asylum-seeker boats is working.


Albanese voted against turning back the boats at Labor's 2015 national conference, where the issue was heavily debated and he has also rejected calls to put a time limit on how long asylum seekers can be held in Australia’s offshore detention centers.
