Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has angrily criticised world leaders at the United Nation's climate action summit in New York, and stared down US President Donald Trump as they crossed paths in a surprise encounter.

More than 60 world leaders and CEOs of energy and financial companies addressed the conference, announcing climate finance measures and transitioning from coal power.
