President Vladimir Zelensky's party won an absolute majority in the Ukrainian parliament, the "Rada", with over 250 seats out of 450.


The "Servant of the People", this is the name of the party of the new pro-Western head of state, will thus be able to consolidate its political leadership.

It comes exactly three months from the shock win in the presidential ballot by the former comedian. What does this mean for Ukraine and in particular for relations with its neighbour, Vladimir Putin's Russia, which continues to occupy part of the country?

We asked our Moscow correspondent, Giuseppe D'Amato, who was in Kiev to cover the elections.
