It’s starting to get cold in Sydney. Ayako Ohtake, a Sydney-based Japanese soprano singer, has selected a song from an opera that truly captures the spirit of winter. This piece was composed by A. Catalani, a highly talented and significant composer often overshadowed by Puccini. On the radio, we’ll be presenting it sung by Maria Callas, one of the greatest divas in the history of opera. Ayako hosts monthly music segment called VIVA! Opera for SBS Japanese.
