After graduating from high school in Japan, Yukihisa went to Nepal to engage in various support activities where he studied Nepalese and went to university. Back then he was advised by people around him against going to Nepal because they thought there would be little chance of employment after he returned to Japan. He says it never occurred to him that he would be working as a teacher in a town in the centre of Australia after 24 years from then on.

“One’s future is so unpredictable” says Yukihisa.
I had never imagined that I would be teaching in a town in the centre of Australia after 24 years, when I went to Nepal after I graduated from high school.

I believe it is important to have passion to diligently pursue the path you have chosen.
