Geelong has secured its tenth AFL premiership title, defeating the Sydney Swans 133 points to 52 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, also known as the MCG. It was the first grand final in Melbourne in three years.

It was very much a one-way contest.
Geelong kicked six goals in the first quarter, and they never relinquished the lead.
33 year old Geelong winger Isaac Smith has become the oldest winner of the Norm Smith medal, which is the player voted best on ground during the grand final match.
The stadium was full capacity with 100,024 fans attending to watch the match.
