Event Report on SMASH! 2025 — Australia's Largest Anime & Pop Culture Event

SMASH! (Sydney Manga and Anime Show), Australia's largest anime and pop culture convention, was held on July 12 (Sat) and 13 (Sun), 2025, at ICC Sydney. This annual convention, beloved by anime fans for years, features a wide range of attractions including panel talks, workshops, an artist market, gaming sections, and live performances. It also hosts special guests from both Australia and abroad. Tickets sold out a week before the event, and with attendees from the Friday night opening event included, the total number of visitors was expected to exceed 40,000.
