日本で初めて、女性の総理大臣が誕生します。
石破内閣の総辞職を受け、21日、衆議院と参議院それぞれの本会議で、総理大臣指名選挙が行われました。
自民党は今月、26年間続いた公明党との連立を解消すると発表し、一時は高市氏の首相就任が危ぶまれましたが、日本維新の会との新たな連立合意により、必要な票を確保しました。
