Sydney Blue Sox and Geelong Korean will have their opening match for ABL 18/19 season from November 15 to 18.
Sydney Blue Sox official Korean Facebook mentioned that this match will be a Korean match and they uploaded the photo for the special uniform of the opening game.
Geelong Korea which will be managed by Korean legend Dae-Sung Koo, revealed it will bring 11 pitchers and 14 positional players to Australia for its first season in the ABL.
Pitcher Jin-Woo Kim having played 247 KBO games across 13 seasons for the Kia Tigers, joins Geelong Korea.
Sydney Blue Sox signed with Korean lefty pitcher, Kiho Yun who has pitched for the Hanwha Eagles for 6 seasons. He also spent two years on the mound for the Sangmu Phoenix Baseball Club in the Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps.
Meanwhile, former Arizona Diamondbacks Korean pitcher, Kim Byung-hyun joins Melbourne Aces for 2018-2019 season.
