Lawen Redar, 28 year old lawyer, Swedish born and raised, has become one of the six Swedish members of parliament with Kurdish background. In this interview with Miss Redar we ask her about the route to success of her political career, the issues she is passionate about to achieve in her role, as well as her message for young Kurds around the world, particularly those who live in diaspora, and wish to become politicians. Lawen Redar emphasises on how important it is for Kurds living outside of Kurdistan to integrate and serve their second homelands. She says success isn't meant to be easy, but all those who have succeeded, have put in a lot of hard work, and didn't given up along the way.
