Australian blogger couple released from an Iranian jail

The Australian couple held in Tehran's notorious Evin prison accused of spying have been released from detention.

Foreign Minister Marise Payne confirmed on Saturday Australian bloggers Jolie King and Mark Firkin had been released from prison and were in "good health and in good spirits".

A third Australian, who was detained by Iranian security forces in a separate arrest, remains in custody.

University of Melbourne academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert is still imprisoned after being charged with spying in October 2018.
