George Calombaris leaves Masterchef after 'failed commercial agreement'

The trio, who have been the reality cooking show's judges for 11 seasons, made their last appearances on Tuesday  night's 2019 season finale.

Network Ten CEO Paul Anderson says 10 was unable to reach a commercial agreement satisfactory to Matt, Gary and George, despite months of negotiations.

It comes amid calls for channel 10 to fire Mr Calombaris, after his company was last week found guilty of underpaying restaurant workers and consequently fined. 

Calombaris was last week fined $200,000 for underpaying his workers alomost $8 million .
