Treasurer Tim Pallas was repeatedly asked by reporters at parliament on Tuesday about the possibility of new taxes in the May 27 budget, responding with "I'm not ruling in or ruling out anything".
"I'm not going to confirm or deny any changes or taxing alterations, I'm not going to get into the content of the budget, as you'd appreciate there's still a number of moving parts most notably around what's proposed from federal receipts," Mr Pallas said.
