‘A mini Olympics in Nepali community’: The Oceania Nepali Sports Meet 2025 concludes in Perth

More than 400 Nepali-speaking athletes from Australia and New Zealand competed in ten different sports at the 6th Oceania Nepali Sports Meet (ONSM) in Perth, held between Friday, 18 April, and Sunday, 20 April. Organiser and current president of ONSM, Ang Dawa Jangbu Sherpa, spoke to SBS Nepali about the significance of this biennial event for the Nepali community in the Oceania region.
