Australia records its lowest unemployment rate in decades

Australia's unemployment rate continues to fall, down to 3.4 per cent for the month of July - the lowest figure recorded since August 1974. But the latest data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics is a mixed bag, with hours worked also down, wages failing to grow, and the gender pay gap widening.
