Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is an illness affecting over 250,000 Australians, with recent research revealing 75 percent of those people are women.


Yet, for many who suffer from the condition, it is hard to explain to others why their fatigue is far greater than the average tiredness.

Getting out of bed, going for walks, taking a phone call.

All basic activities for someone like Maddie Shields, who has been diagnosed with Myalgic encephalomyelitis, are utterly exhausting.
