'Covid-19 is second traumatic experience for the refugees in Australia'

Advocates and members of refugee community say that during Covid-19 pandemic refugee communities struggling for their daily living are reliving their sufferings for the second time.


Refugee Communities Association of Australia (RCAA) has distributed relief packages to the vulnerable groups including refugees impacted by coronavirus.

Parsuram Sharma Luitel of RCAA says people from refugee background are hard hit by the pandemic.

Sharma spoke to SBS Nepali about the food distribution to international students, temporary visa holders and refugee communities who are impacted by the Covid-19.
