More than two million temporary visa holders living and working in Australia have been left in limbo, and many are struggling to pick up work as businesses struggle due to the coronavirus pandemic. Migration advocates are calling on the federal government to provide support in the form of income assistance and rent freezes to help temporary migrant workers survive in the coming months.
