Gyalpo Lhosar: 'Our traditional attire reflects where we come from'

Australia's Sherpa community celebrated Gyalpo Lhosar on Saturday, 1 March 2025. Community members gathered in Sydney and Melbourne to welcome the Year of the Snake. Participants at events organised by the Sherpa Association of NSW and Sherpa Association of Victoria spoke to SBS Nepali about the importance of preserving their culture away from home.
