Homeschooling tips from some Melbourne based Nepali parents and teachers

As Melbourne is thrown into the fourth lockdown, school-going students are once again finding themselves stuck in front of tablet and computer screens with huge challenges for the whole household.


With the restrictions currently in place across the state to prevent and control the spread of coronavirus, all Victorian school students are back studying at home from Monday.

This has left most parents in Victoria having to help their children with their school work as they themselves get busy with working-from-home arrangements.

Last year, during a similar scenario in Melbourne, we had asked some parents and teachers of Nepali background how they are motivating children during such a challenging time, what are the difficulties they face and how do they deal with child psychology.
