Alina Tamarakar, the Resource Recovery Engagement Officer at the Cumberland City Council in western Sydney where many Nepalis also reside. Tamrakar has been an active voice in the Nepali community who is helping turn household wastes from the fresh produce and other edible products into resources rather than waste. In this chat with SBS Nepali, she talks about how to make your own compost, become more sustainable in household waste management amongst other things.
