Melbourne's "Walk for Welfare" -Domestic violence and loneliness among topics discussed

Around 200 members of Melbourne Nepali community, including children, have taken part in a "Walk for Welfare" march to discuss some of the common problems faced by the members of the community including domestic violence, housing availability and loneliness. Held on Sunday 24 June, the event was organised by the Non Residential Nepalese Association Australia as part of a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the issues within the community. Shikha Basnet Khadka was at the event and has this report for SBS Nepali.
