Nepali entrepreneurs Neeraj Khanal and twin brothers Ram and Laxman Rimal, popularly known as the “Tech Guys”, say the success stories of people from Nepali backgrounds in Australia have been a source of inspiration. Visiting Sydney to participate in the International Youth Entrepreneur Summit (I-YES), organised by the Federation of International Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs (FINYE), the three business leaders spoke with SBS Nepali about their entrepreneurial journeys, the differences between business environments in Nepal and Australia, the relationship between education and entrepreneurship, and the growing involvement of Gen Z in the industry. From developing a technology to automate water pump operations to building the Ram Laxman Group into a network of six companies, the Rimal brothers’ journey highlights innovation and persistence. Meanwhile, Neeraj Khanal shares how failing in science studies led him towards arts and eventually into entrepreneurship.
