Diabetes Australia and the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc organised a Community Diabetes Program on Friday, 13 February, targeting the Nepali community. SBS Nepali spoke with the workshop participants, especially visiting Nepali grandparents and an organising member, about diabetes awareness and experiences of living with the disease. Also included is an earlier conversation with Sydney GP Dr Prabin Pathak about the health condition and its prevalance in the Nepali community.
