Opal card concession, cancellation of the registration of training providers, workplace exploitation are some of the areas of concern for international students, including those from Nepal.

The president of the Council of International Students Australia, Bijay Sapkota, believes although these issues are very much there, Nepali students should know where to make a complaint about these issues.

He gave an example of Nepali students who participated in the Nepali media platform to express their concern over expensive transportation in Australia.

Sapkota says CISA has been vocal about opal card concession for international students for a very long time, but this is not something Nepali government or Nepali media can solve.

He urges Nepali students to be more aware of the Australian system and policies along with different regulatory bodies for different sectors.

Bijay Sapkota has talked about the career path for Nepali students, how to seek help, what are the areas of concern for Nepali students and also about CISA's National Conference.
