Two entrepreneurs with Nepali language-speaking backgrounds join hands to contribute to Australia's sustainability plan by bringing tapari, a traditional Nepali leaf plate, into the Australian market.

Tapari is made from mature green leaves of Shorea robusta and carries cultural and traditional values in the Nepali community.

Indra Adhikari from South Australia and Prakash Gautam from Victoria are bringing tapari along with other biodegradable products into the Australian market.

As biodegradable products are slowly replacing single used plastic products in Australia, Adhikari and Gautam feel it's their responsibility to contribute to this initiative by creating awareness in the community towards sustainable practices.
