Nepalis awarded among the Top 100 South Asian Business Leaders in Victoria

Business leaders and entrepreneurs were felicitated at the 'Top 100 South Asian Innovation Business Leaders Awards' ceremony held on Saturday, 2 December 2023 at Park Hyatt Melbourne. The award categories ranged from education and immigration to food and travel and nominees were people from diverse backgrounds including Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Awardees Sunod Shrestha, Gopal Pokharel and Kamal Dahal, all three from a Nepali background, told SBS Nepali that they felt proud to represent Nepal on an international platform.
