Pandemic didn’t stop Nepali youths in Australia from gambling

A Nepali football club in Sydney says, it has seen its members switching to online gambling during COVID-19 lockdowns.


Gam Gurung from Sagaramatha Football Club spoke to SBS Nepali about their continuous effort to help those with gambling addiction.

Support services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858 and Lifeline on 13 11 14. Help is also available at the Gamblers Anonymous website gaaustralia.org.au.
