Team Nepal has had a great start to this year's Melbourne Renegades Champions League.
Man of the match, Chand Shrestha, who scored 63 runs for Team Nepal against the Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders team, was magnanimous in acknowledging his contribution.
Speaking to SBS Nepali, Shrestha said, "Everybody executed their role nicely, our fielding was superb, and Captain Sunam Gautam bowled really well."

Sajendra Shrestha, another member of the Team Nepal, highlighted the hard work and perseverance of the players who meet up every week for their training sessions despite having to juggle study, work and other commitments.
Chand was also very excited for the younger Nepali cricketers living in Melbourne.
"There is no reason why we will not see more Nepalis playing in Big Bash League (BBL). They are so talented," he said when questioned if only Sandeep Lamichhane will be the sole Nepali player to play in BBL for considerable future.
Team Nepal will next face Sri Lanka at 10 AM on 4th November, Sunday at Western Oval in Parkville, Melbourne. A further schedule of matches for Team Nepal can be found here.
