Tihar in Australia: 'It's starting to feel like Nepal!'

This Tihar, we are taking to Queanbeyan, a regional city in New South Wales, near Canberra. SBS Nepali spoke to pariticipants and visitors at the Diwali Mela Lantern Festival organised by Queanbeyan Multicultural Centre on Saturday, October 18. Nepali community members shared what it means to celebrate festivals away from home, and how it has evolved over time.
