Listen to our radio program first aired on SBS South Asian on Thursday, 9 October 2025 at 2 PM AEDT, from Cairns in Far North Queensland. To mark the Festival of Lights, SBS Nepali, along with several other language services within SBS South Asian, was in regional Queensland for the special broadcast, during which we spoke to members of the local community about their Australia story and celebrating the upcoming Tihar festival. SBS Nepali is a part of SBS South Asian, the destination channel for all South Asians living in Australia.
