The tourism industry is one of many that's been put under almost unbearable pressure - by the COVID-19 crisis, but is now hoping for brighter days ahead, brought on by the loosening of coronavirus-related restrictions.


In an economy largely shuttered by COVID-19, few sectors have been largely shattered like the tourism industry.

People being unable to move around their own country, or overseas, is a brutal blow to a sector that relies on just such a basic freedom.

So, it's little wonder that this sector of the Australian economy is especially keen to get moving again, as Australians eye the re-opening of the economy post-coronavirus.
