१: सधैं रातो र पहेंलो झण्डाको बीचमा पौडी खेल्नुहोस्

When you see red and yellow flags on a beach it indicates that there is currently a lifesaving service operating on that beach.

२: सुरक्षा चिन्ह पढ्नुहोस्

Before you go on to the beach be sure to read the safety signs.

३: लाइफ गार्डबाट सुरक्षा सुझाव लिनुहोस्

Lifeguards are highly trained and very knowledgeable about beach safety and conditions.

४: साथीसँग पौडी खेल्नुहोस्

While you are swimming together you can keep an eye out for each other.

५: मदत चाहिए संयमताका साथ ध्यानाकर्षण गराउनुहोस्

If you require a lifeguard’s assistance to get back to shore, stay calm, raise your arm in the air and wave it from side to side.

६: स्लिप, स्लोप, स्लाप - घामबाट सुरक्षित रहन टी-शर्ट, सनस्क्रीन, टोपी र गगल्स लगाउने

'SLIP on a T-Shirt, SLOP on some sunscreen and SLAP on a hat' is the famous advice that has long been recommended by the Australian Cancer Council for staying sun-safe at the beach. 

These days, they've extended the advice further to be include SEEK shade and SLIDE on some sunglasses.
