Australia's Isaiah Firebrace has been voted through Semi Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest, and will compete for Australia in the Grand Final Sunday 14 May on SBS.

SBS reports that Overnight in Kyiv, Ukraine, 17-year-old Isaiah took to the stage performing his Eurovision song 'Don't Come Easy', impressing the worldwide voting audience and juries of each country to be one of the ten artists through to the Grand Final.

Andy Trieu from SBS PopAsia spoke with First Nations singer Isaiah Firebrace about his journey and Eurovision.
